Betting happens in a fixed order each round, and players act again and again until the round closes. Acting last (on the "button," the dealer position) means you get to see everyone else's action before deciding — more information, better decisions.

📐 Tighten Early, Widen Late

Because early-position players have the least information, they should open only their strongest hands. Late-position players can profitably open a much wider range, since acting last all postflop gives them more control.

Required equity = amount you must call ÷ (pot size after the bet + your call).
